#2 CM Punk
CM Punk is the wrestler who has the most influence on me. His original gimmick in WWE was the leader of the Straight Edge Society. This group reflected his actual beliefs of being straight edge in real life. I have also taken up this lifestyle of being straight edge. (Being straight edge was originally a rebellious movement but has since been turned in to living a heather, addiction free life. The core aspects of being straight edge involves not smoking, drinking alcohol and not doing drugs.) After the SES was disbanded CM Punk, went after John Cena's title belt. On RAW in 2011, 3 weeks before the Money in the Bank PPV, after Cena lost a table match to R-Truth, Punk came out unscripted and laid a pipebomb on the company's flaws and mistreatment. LIVE. Eventually, his mic was cut off, and his contract was suspended for 2 weeks. When he came back his story line went on to fight Cena for his championship at Money in the Bank. Punk took the championship away from Cena in an excellent match to kick off the Reality era of WWE.
